retrochine-cdRETROCHINE is the second Schtung Music release celebrating Chinese pop music from a bygone era with a 21st Century twist. The first was ‘Pathe 100 – The Shanghai Divas Redefined (Vol. I)’ released in 2003. Producers Ian Widgery and Morton Wilson have reunited to partner with Celestial Pictures Ltd. in paying tribute to soundtracks from Shaw Brothers movies shot in Hong Kong during the late 50s and early 60s.
